Kafka loses control and almost kills Isao—but regains his humanity by stabbing himself to stop the rampage. His actions prove that he still values life and can control the monster within.

Impressed by Kafka’s loyalty and self-sacrifice, the Defense Force decides to keep him alive—but under strict surveillance. His existence remains a secret to the public. Despite his mixed identity, Kafka is now considered a unique weapon against the kaiju.
He returns to the Third Division, not as a full hero, but as a weapon of last resort—a walking paradox who could either save or destroy humanity.
