Storyline
Everyone thought Liam was just a lonely salaryman, but he gets transported into another world with unlimited magical powers. Liam was an average salaryman stuck in a dead-end job who dozed off at work. When he woke up, he found himself in a totally different world of nobles and high-class people enjoying a drink while a maid tried to wake him up. Utterly confused, he wondered if it was all a dream, but the maid kept telling him he should greet the guests for the party.
Even more confused, Liam spotted a mirror and was shocked to see the reflection of a young boy staring back instead of a tired old corporate slave. Suddenly, his father walked up, telling him to stop acting like a weirdo because they had guests over. Liam was surprised but slowly realized he had been transported into a different world where he was the fifth son of a noble family. The party happening was for the birth of his sister, as all his older siblings were boys.
He decided to sleep it off, hoping to wake back in his world, but that didn't happen. Still in the child's body, he went out to the balcony, where the maid told him all the land in front belonged to his family. Liam couldn't believe how rich they were. Later, he met his older siblings. Bruno, the fourth son, explained their father and oldest brother were trying to serve the nation somehow. According to the laws, every noble family must serve the nation or lose their status. Unfortunately, their clueless father hadn't done anything important yet, meanwhile being the third generation, so if they didn't act, they'd become commoners.
Bruno mentioned their oldest brother, Al, had tried becoming a storytime TikToker but was called a beta by the Sigma King, making impressing the king even harder. Before they could talk more, their magic teacher entered with a book, which made Liam excited to learn magic. Bruno told him to calm down since very few people manage magic.
Ignoring Bruno, Liam rushed outside and asked the maid to show him to the library. Inside, he found many magic books and randomly picked one. He tried a basic fire spell, surprisingly succeeding by lighting his hand like a candle. The maid congratulated him on his first spell. Excited, he went to ask his father if he could borrow magic books, but his father didn't care about his fifth son and told him to do whatever he wanted. Liam cursed him inside and took what he needed.
Every day, he practiced magic alone, improving slowly and tackling more complex spells. After a month, he could perform flame magic without the books. Bruno was impressed as even those who learned magic took at least a year to cast simple spells unaided. Bruno tried the books but couldn't cast even the simplest magic. He handed the book back to Liam, claiming he could advance with magic, though Liam didn't care.
Liam then got an ice spell book but was stopped by his father, who wanted to know if he had learned magic. Nervous, Liam accidentally cast a bit of ice magic prematurely. His father was unimpressed until Liam showed a powerful flame cutter spell unaided, which shocked and pleased him. His father happily told him to take as many magic books as he liked.
One day in the forest, Liam met a man in a white jacket asking if he was from the Noble Hamilton family. The man showed immense elemental magic power, casting five different elements at once. Liam begged him to teach him, and the man agreed after testing Liam's ability to draw shapes correctly. Liam learned to combine multiple spells simultaneously, which astonished the man.
The man gave Liam a Samsung Galaxy ring containing tons of magic books. Liam found he could summon and store magic creatures like Pokémon inside the ring, increasing his power.
Months passed, Liam improved greatly, creating charcoal, mana crystals, and impressing Bruno, who called him independent. They discussed their family's decline and Liam's need to secure his own future. Liam started selling instant ramen, a new invention, but was restricted by his oldest brother Al. Undeterred, Liam created a clone to sell in other kingdoms, effectively inventing digital slavery.
Liam joined the Hunter's Guild, quickly proving his strength and earning a B-rank adventurer badge. On his first mission with the gold-digging Asuna, they fought giant wolves and a metal-covered caterpillar monster, which Liam defeated using clever magic.
High-ranking visitors arrived, and Liam was knighted, gaining independence. He discovered a dungeon with an ancient magic book from his mentor Raymond. Using spells from the book, Liam created a magical door to a pocket dimension for storage and hiding.
Liam and companions faced dangerous monsters, forged contract familiars, and gained unique powers. Princess Scarlet, initially hostile, admired Liam as he rose in status and power. He formed alliances with elves, werewolves, trolls, and expanded his territory, named his kingdom Liam Raiden, and controlled magical technology including roads storing spells and magic communication devices.
Liam defeated a Dracula vampire threat, saved and integrated vampires into his growing city, and built trade relations with neighboring kingdoms. Diplomatic and military alliances formed under his rule, bolstered by his magic and resource discoveries like a mithril mine.
As Liam's kingdom flourished, he mastered efficient magic use, invented new spells and magic armors, and created a unique magic infrastructure for his people to thrive. Political intrigue and assassination attempts forced him to rely on cunning, strategy, and his powerful dragon ally Ridon.
In time, Liam showed he was a clever and pragmatic ruler, combining magic, technology, and diplomacy to survive and build a strong kingdom. Despite opposition and danger, he continued growing his power, reputation, and the loyalty of those around him, becoming a true master of magic and leadership in a world on the brink of change.
